Thurs., Sept. 23, 1858  North Carolina Argus September 23, 1858
   We learn that the saw mill of KADAR WHITLEY, on Little River, Johnston 
County, was burned down a few nights ago and since that an attempt has been 
made to burn down his grist and flouring mill. Our informant 
writes "incendiarism and flagrant violations of the law are rife in many part 
of the County."
