G. W. Radford, 63, Succumbs

       Last rites for George Washington Radford, 63, of Goldsboro, were 
conducted Friday at 3 p. m. at the residence of his son, Clifton Radford, 
in Goldsboro by Rev. W. H. Lancaster of Smithfield. Interment was in the 
Princeton Cemetery.
       Mr. Radford died Wednesday following a long illness at the home of 
Clifton Radford.
       Surviving are his wife, the former Easter Lee; six sons, Clifton 
Radford, Chester Radford of Princeton and Melvin, Acey, Levi and David 
Radford of Selma, and two daughters, Mrs. Annie Lee Kelly of New York City 
and Mrs. Joe Barbour of Pine Level.
