Will of Barzellai Blackman Senr

To son Edin all my lands plantation and mill on the west side of a branch 
called Miles Branch
To son Nehemiah all my lands on the east side of said Miles Branch
To beloved wife Rebeccah Blackman my plantation and mill and all my land 
adjoining the west side of Miles Branch during her natural life but if she 
marries to give up to son Edin my old plantation and the lands adjoining 
thereto on the south side of the Mill Branch after he comes of age or able to 
do for himself
Lend my wife two Negroes by the names of Robert and Charles, one sorrell 
horse, one bay mare, two feather beds and furniture, all my plantation tools 
and household furniture, ten head of cattle and giving to all my children when 
they come of age or marry off two cows and all my stock of hogs to her during 
her life and after her decease all the property to be sold and equally divided 
amongst my children
To son Barzillai Blackman Junr all the property that I have heretofore lent 
him also one young mare
To daughter Zilpha all the property I have heretofore lent her and two hundred 
and twenty five acres of land lying on Hannah's Creek
To daughter Elizabeth two hundred and fifty acres on the south side of the 
south prong of Mill Creek joining of Noah Barefoot lines and one feather bed 
and furniture and one chest
To daughter Aley one hundred and eight silver dollars, one feather bed and 
furniture
To my sons Nehemiah and Edin one Gin to each and fifteen pounds 
My will is that my copper still and blacksmith's tools should be sold and paid 
toward my debts due me after taking out Aley's one hundred and fifty dollars 
and two boys Nehemiah and Edin fifteen pounds each and the rest be equally 
divided among the children
I appoint my trusty friend Samuel Lee Junr my executor
Witnesses: Cader Blackman and Martha Thornton
