Will of John Blackman

To dear wife Sarah the plantation I now live upon with three Negroes named 
Patience, Siler and Kuff during her natural life with two feather beds and 
furniture, two pots, one iron kettle, plow horse, one mare, five pewter dishes 
with six plates, one case of knives and forks, ten cows and calves, twelve 
sheep, one loom and eleven chairs
To beloved sons John and William the tract of land that my son John now lives 
upon equally divided between them
To son Joseph the plantation lying in Cumberland County with six cows and 
calves belonging to that plantation stock
To son Barzillai the plantation I now live upon lying and being on both sides 
of Nuce River
To daughter Elizabeth one Negro girl named Beck
To son Ishabod one Negro boy named Chester (or Chesher)
I appoint my wife Sarah and son William my executors
Witnesses: Thos Faile, John Burton and William Campbell
Proved July Court 1760
