Will of John Blackman

To my two daughters Elizabeth and Delilah a tract of land containing 100 acres 
known as the Stanly place equally divided
To daughter Jershua one hundred acres of land known as the New tract where my 
dwelling house stands, one cow and calf, one feather bed and furniture
To daughter Mary a two year old colt, one cow and calf, one feather bed and 
furniture, one dutch oven
To my son Edmond a horse
To my son Arthur one cross cut saw
To my wife Tabitha one Negro man named Tom, one horse, one feather bed and 
furniture and plantation tools, all my house hold (paper missing), four head 
of cattle in her lifetime and after her decease the said property to be sold 
and the money equally divided between my children and one part between William 
Stevens children viz Fanny, William and Jenney
I appoint my wife Tabitha and George Massingail
Witnesses: Robert Braswell, Levi Bass, Lucretia Braswell
