Saunders Clerk Henry Bulls Will 1787 Xxx Paid taxes [Next page] In the Name of God Amen the 1st Day of October In the year of Our Lord 1787: I Henery Booles Of Johnston County and In the State of North Carolina Being Weak In body But of perfectt mind and Memory thanks be Given to God; Therefore Calling to Mind that the Mortality of my Body and knowing It is Appointed For all men Once to Dy do Make and Ordain this my Last Will and Testament that I To Say Principally And firs of all I give and Recommend My Sole Into the hands of God that Gave it; And my Body I Recommend to the Earth to be Buried In a decent Christian Burial at the Discretion of My Executors; And as Touching of Worley Estate Where With It hath pleased Almighty God to bless me With In this Life, I Give and Dispose of the Same In the Following manner and form [one word unreadable]; ~ ~ Itam I Give and Bequeath Unto My Wife Mary Boulls Three Pound Specie for Ever; Itam I Lend to my Beloved Son Barney Bools The Manner Plantation that I now Lives on With Three hundred and Fifty acres Of Land to wit; Two hundred acers Including the plantation that I now Live on and the other Hundred And fifty acers to bee Taken of My Three hundred Acer Tract Joining my Plantation Track Lying on the Roade, During His Natural Life And after his Deceas I gave It to his heirs Lawfully Begotten, for Ever; I also give and Bequeath to my Son Barney all my [C]eder Casks and my Whip saw and my Largest pot and Four pewter plates and one Baxom and one sithe and all my Plow hows Excepting one cutter I gave to my son William and my Bible and one Chirn and all my Gear and my Old Cart Wheals and body and one Broad ax To him and his heirs forever Two Goubing how and my Wide Weedin how And one pare of small Weges; ^ Item I Lend to my Beloved Son William Bulls Four hundred acers of Land Lying up The Swamp Including the plantation that formly Belonged To William Caps During his Natural Life and after his Deceas I Give It to his heirs Lawfully Begoten For Ever; I also Give and Bequieth To my son William one Negroe Wench Named Dol and her Child Darkie And my Rifel Gun and my midle size pot and four pewter plates and one Baxon and my Small Dish and my New Pare of Cart Wheals and one slait and one Cutter and my big iron Weg and Two Cledle Axes and two Weeding hows, To him and his heirs for Ever; ~ ~ [next page] Itam, I give and Bequieth Unto My Beloved Daughter Elizabeth Talton one horse cald Prince And one Cow And the Two Feather Beds that I Lye on one boalister Two Sheat one of them are Double Wove; and one Counter pin and one bedsted and four pewter plates and my Bigest Dish and my Frying pan and one Wooling Wheal To hir and hir heirs for Ever. ~ ~ Itam I Give and Bequith Unto My Beloved Daughter Ester Bulls One Horse Cauld Trimmer and Three Cows and Two Calves. And one Two year old heffer and one Bed Bedsted and firniture and my Small pot and my Loom and all the Gear Beloning to It and four pewter plates and one Dish To Hir And Hir heirs forever; Itam I Give and Bequieth Unto Rachil Bulls [Daughter-in-law, wife of Henry Jr per his will. Also, note no longer uses beloved or daughter.] one Shilling Starling To hir and hir heirs for Ever; ~ Itam I give and bequieth Unto Zilpha Booles [Granddaughter per son Henry’s will] Seventy five acers of Land Including the plantation that My Son Henry Bulls Formely Lived on, and Thirty Shillings In hard money To hir and hir heirs For Ever; ~ Itam I give and bequieth to Polly Bulls Seventy five acers of Land Joining the Same Track that I give to Zilpha Belonging To the Same Survey and also Thirty Shillings in Hard Money to hir and hir heirs for Ever; ~ It is my Will and Desire that My Track of Land that Lies on the Watert Branch Which Contains Two Hundred and fifty Acers to be Equally Divided Between My Two Daughters Elizabeth Talton and Esther Bulls To them and Their heirs for Ever; ~ It Is My Will and Desire that all Twoles of all Cind That I have not Given away And all my stock of Catle That I have not Given a Way and My stock of hogs and Sheep and all my Wairing Cloes that I have not Given away to be Equelly Divided Between My Two Sons William Boulls and Barney Bulls by Men of their One Chasing; It Is also My Desire that my Hachte and Stillards and flax brake and Grine Stone to be left for the youse of My Two Sons William and Barney and my spoon moles to be Be Cep for the youse of almy Children; It Is My Will and Desire that My Son William Booles Should Collect In all My Debts that Is Due to My Estate And for My Two Daughters Elizabeth and Ester [next page] Two have forty Shillings apeace Out of It and then all my Just Debts and Charges to be paid and Then the Over [one word unreadable] to be Equally Divided between My Two sons William and Barney; ~ I Likewis Constitute Make and Ordain My Trusty and Will Beloved friend Hardy Talton; and Joseph Ingram My Sole Executors of this my Last Will and Testament; and I Do hireby Retturly Disallow Revok and Disannul all and Every other Former Testament Will Legecis and bequieth and And Exceuiton by mee In any Ways Before Named Wills and Bequiethed Ratifying and Confirming This and no other to bee my Last Will and Testament In Witness Where of I have her Unto Set My hand and Seal the Day and Date above Mentioned ~ Signd Seald In the presents of Us by the Said Henry Bulls as his Last Will and Testament In the presents of Us the Subscribed ~ Tests.
