Johnston County, NC - Will of John Corbett, 1892 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Will of John Corbett Johnston County 1892 In the name of God I John Corbett of the County of Johnston and State of North Carolina being in weak health of body and of sound mind memory and understanding Praise be God for the same, do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following. I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Cathrine P. Corbett my Home tract of land known as the Bryan tract her lifetime or wooderhood. I also give to her one horse Henry Clay two milk cows ten head of hogs two beads & contents one parlor benriangh one dress table 2 rocking chairs 6 parlor stool chairs 6 split bottom chairs and her beadroom press wash stand bole & pitcher one small trunk one chest - my Bible & testament & hymn book also my clock one cook stove and contents two eating tables and all my cooking untencels 6 table chairs 4 bee hives one years support for her and her stock one top bugy and harnes one cart and farming utencels for one horse farm my grind rack and seventy dollars in cash, at the death of my wife Cathrine P. Corbett the above property real & personal is to be eculaly devided amongest my three girl children Mary Jane Hinnant Anneliza Turley & Carie Oniel. I also give devise and bequeath unto my three girl children Mary Jane Hinnant Anneliza Turley & Carie Oniel all of my land except my home tract as is specified above my will is that the land be valued and eculaly devided amongest my three heirs and all the balance of my property mixed of what nature on kind solver and wheresover the same shall be at my death the same to bee eculay devided amongst the three heirs and after thur death or wooderhood it is my will that it go to thier bodyly heirs and I do nominate constitute and appoint my three soninlaws Hillory Hinnant Joel B. Turley & John B. Oniel executors of this my last will and testament and do declair this to be my last will and testament in witness wereof I the said John Corbett have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 18th day of March A.
