I dispose of in the following manner, that is to say: To my beloved Wife, Sarah Duck, I give and bequeath, one bed, beadstead and furniture five sows and eighteen Pigs to be hers forever and two hundred acres of Land, including the Plantation whereon we now live, during her life or Widowhood also two Pots and Hooks, four pewter plates, two pewter basons one Dish and nine spoons during her life or Widowhood. To my loving Son John Duck, I give two Negro Boys, the one named Jim and the other Sampson, one smooth barrel gun, one pair of Smith Bellow Tongs and Stake. To my loving Daughter Lydia, I give one Negro Woman named Jinny with this to observe, that the first living child the (the) said Jinny has to belong to my Daughter Penny and the next living child to belong to my Daughter Bedy, also one Bed and bedstead. To my loving Daughter, Mary Duck, I give one Negro Boy named Silas, observing this, that if the said Mary dies without an heir, the said Negro Silas to be sold and (and)the money he purchases to be divided among the rest of my four eldest daughters. To my daughters Penny Duck and Bedy Duck, each of them a cow and yearling a piece and a feather bed to be equally divide between them. To my Daughter Milley I give ten Shillings. To my Son James I give ten Shillings To my Daughter Elizabeth I give ten Shillings—I also give all that is coming to me by heirship to my wife Sarah Duck and her children Also to my Daughter Penny Duck one Mare Bridle and Saddle – Likewise to my daughter Bedy Duck two cows and yearling and two heifers Now as to the rest of my property that is not yet mentioned before, also two hundred acres of Land to be sold, and the money obtained by the Sale of the same to be put to the use of paying my Debts, and if any remainder after such payments, such remained to be equally divided among my children. I also make, and constitute my son John Duck also my friend James Hinnant my whole and Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disanull and every other testament, Wills, and Legsey or Executor by me in any way before this time named, testifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament.
