Will of Samuel Eldridge

To well beloved wife Elizabeth Eldridge I lend three Negros named Sharp, Alec 
and Patience during her natural life or widowhood and after her decease to my 
son Samuel Eldridge
To son-in-law David Lee one Negro man named Peter and one girl named Jude
To son-in-law Abner Ingram a Negro woman named Dice, a Negro boy named 
Abraham, a Negro boy named Elias and a Negro girl named Alee
To daughter Mildred Eldridge a Negro man named Ned, a Negro girl named Vilet 
and the stocks of cattle that Lewis Bryan and Nathan Vick keeps, one mare and 
one feather bed
To daughter Elizabeth Eldridge one Negro boy named Ben and one Negro girl 
named Rachel and the stock of cattle that Sharp keeps, one mare and one 
feather bed
To son Samuel Eldridge Negro boys named Buck, Joe, Isaac and Stephen, one 
Negro girl Patience
Remaining part of estate, plantations, lands, money, horses, cattle, sheep and 
hogs with all my household goods I also lend to wife Elizabeth Eldridge during 
her natural life or widowhood and at her decease or marriage to fall to my son 
Samuel Eldridge
I appoint Lewis Bryan Senr and wife executors
Witnesses: Barzillai Blackman, John Bryan and Thomas Linch
