Will of Edward Gurley (abstracted)
10 Feb 1795
Prob. Nov. Ct. 1795

Wife Mary- All my lands including plantation where I now live; household 
furnishings; livestock; cash in hand during her lifetime or widowhood

Son Jeremiah- The whole of land belonging to the Walker Plantation, part of 
the above land lent to wife, when he becomes 21 yrs old; bed & furniture; 
1 gun

Son Davis - Land & plantation on which I now live, being 200 ac. of the above 
tract lent to wife; household furnishings; shop tools

Daughter Keziah Gurley- Household furniture; livestock

Daughter Alley Gurley- Bed & furniture; saddle & bridle; 12 shillings

Unborn child- 20 shillings 

4 sides of leather hides to be kept for family use. Schooling of children to 
come out of estate. Remainder of estate to be sold by Exec not Sheriff. Money 
to be divided between children.
