Rose, of the town of Smithfield, county of Johnston and state of North Carolina, do make, publish and declare this paper writing to be my last will and testament: I devise and bequeath to my children, an equal part to each, all my property, both real and personal of every description I constitute and appoint my son-in-law Ira T. Turlington, executor this my last will and testament I also constitute and appoint said Ira T. Turlington guardian of such of my children as may not have attained the age of twenty one years at my death In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal, this the 17th day of October 1887 J.G.
