Will of Thomas Johnson

State of North Carolina
Johnston County
In the Name of God Amen, I Thomas Johnson being in perfect health praised be 
God, do make this my last will and testament as followeth:
Item, I give to my son Joel Johnson five shillings sterling money.  
Item, I give to my son Thomas Johnson five shillings sterling money.  
Item, I give to my son James Johnson five shillings sterling money.  
Item, I give to my son Moses Johnson five shillings sterling money.  
Item, I give to my son Obed Johnson five shillings sterling money.  
Item, I give to my daughter Mary Johnson five shilings sterling money.
Item, I give to my daughter Charity Johnson five shillings sterling money.
Item, I give to my daughter Milley Johnson five shillings sterling money.
Item, I give to my daughter Sarah Gower five shillings sterling money.
Item, I give to Polley Johnson daughter of David Johnson five shillings 
sterling money.
Item, And the rest of my Estate I give to my wife to her exposal, who I ordain 
my Executrix to this my Last will and testament and Charge with payment of my 
Debts and legacies in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal 
this fourth Day of April in the year of our Lord 1781.
