I Joseph Garner Senior of Johnson County of North Carolina being in health and of perfect - sound sence and memory thanks be to God for the same and calling to mind the mortality of mankind that all is born to die, therefore of all my worldly goods which it hat - pleased God to bless me with I give and bequeath as follows: First, I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body to be buried in a decent manner at the discrestion of my executors and all my worldy debts to be paid and the remainder of my estate I give and bequeath as follows: I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Sarah Whitley five shillings proclamation money. I give to my beloved son Joseph Garner five shillings proclamation money. I give to my beloved son William Garner five shillings proclamation money. I give to my beloved daughter Esther Honeycutt five shillings procl. money. I give to my beloved daughter Prudence Powell five shillings procl. money. I give to my beloved daughter Charity Charity Honeycutt five shillings procl. money. I give to my beloved son Jacob Garner five shillings proclamation money and all my rights of that tract of land that he now lives on the south side of Great Buffalow Swamp. I give to my beloved wife Prudence Garner one feather bed and furniture. I give to my beloved son Lazerus Garner all of my tract of land and plantation where I now live but if he should die without heir I give the said land and plantation to my beloved son Joseph Garner. I give and bequeath to my beloved son Lazerous Garner all the remaining part of my estate with all rights and credits all and singular both real and personal and I do hereby constitute and appoint my son Lazerous Garner to be my whole and sole executor and I do hereby disannul all former wills whatsoever and do acknowledge this only to be my last Will and Testament.
