Son: Robart Lee - Negro boy, Seasser (Caesar) Son: Edward Lee - 100 a. in low grounds of Neuse River whereon he has cleared a plantation adjoining John Lee's line. 100 a. in low grounds called John Green's field. 75 a. on Mill Creek at the bridge, and one negro boy, Abel Son: John Lee - 200 a. in low grounds of the river whereon is a plantation called Cows Bones. 100 a. in Bearhill adjoining his own land. Two negroes: boy, Charles; girl, Linn Son: Thomas Lee - after wife's decease or widowhood, plantation "whereon I now live with remaining part of the low grounds." 200 a. in the low grounds called "fredricks lands" and "part of a tract of land called Trapnals lands being part joyning the plantation it being divided by a line of marked trees beginning at a hickory tree at the mouth of Cypros gut on the river and running by the line of marked trees to the back line." Smith, Jr. John (his mark) Lee Inferior Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions: "The Last Will and testament of John Lee was in Open Court provd by the Oath of Gilberd Hix, and Samuel Smith, Jr. where upon the Exor. therein named, to wit, Edwd. The item between the bequest to son, Fredrick, and bequest to daughter, Mary Ballanger, has been partially obliterated due to a fold in the will. Fairly legible are the words: "Item __ Pow ___ ___ one negro wench called ___ and her child called Bristor to her and her heirs forever."
