Devised April 2, 1833, Probated February 24, 1834. In the name of God Amen I George Mainord of the County [of] Johns[t]on and State of North Carolina being of sound and perfect mind and memory (Blessed be God) do this the Second day of April in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty Three make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner following, that is to say. First I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Daughter Ollif Adams wife of Green Adams Two Dollars Current money. I give and bequeath unto my well beloved son John Mainord Two Dollars Current money. I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Daughter Agatha Mainord Fifty Cents Current money. I give and bequeath unto my well beloved sons William Mainord and Paskel T. Mainord one __ negro girl by the name of Mary to be Equally divided between them When my son Acril Alvin Mainord becomes Twenty one years of age. I give and bequeath unto my well beloved son James Whitenton Mainord Twenty Five Dollars Current money. I give and bequeath unto my well beloved sons Aldridge Alphis Mainord and Acril Alvin Mainord one negro girl by the name of Moley to be equally divided between them When my son Acril Alvin Mainord becomes Twenty one years of age. I lend unto my well beloved wife Sally Mainord one negro woman by the name of Kizzy and one negro Boy by the name of Austin during her Lifetime or widow hood. At the death of my wife Sally Mainord or widow hood for Austin to be equally divided between all my children. I give and bequeath unto my well beloved sons William Mainord and Paskel T. Mainord Aldridge Alphis Mainord and Acril Alvin Mainord one negro woman by the name of Kizzy and her increase to be equally divided between them at my wife Sally Mainord Death or widow hood. All the Balance of my property after my Debts paid to be equally divided between the all my Children except one Bed to my wife Sally Mainord. And I hereby make and ordain my worthy sons Paskel T. Mainord and William Mainord Executors of this my last will and testament. In Witness Whereof I the said George Mai[n]ord have to this my last will and Testament set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Signed sealed published and declared by the sd.
