I Aaron Spivy of the County of Johnston being in perfect mind and memory blessed be God for it thirteenth day of March one thousand eight hundred and one do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say: Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved grandson Dixson Spivy my long shot gun my cross cut saw and all my cooppers tools Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved grandson Ephraim Spivy my little shotgun one feather bed and bolster two sheats one rug one blanket my large pot me large pewter dish one bason two puter plates four spoons two punch boles one quart mug one stone jug one cow and calf my gray mare named pol my bridle and sadle my fire tongs one brase scimmar. Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved grandson William Spivy my small pot one putor dish one putor bason four spoons two putor plates. Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved gran daughter Charlot Spivy one box iron. Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved gran daughter Elizabeth Spivy one table. Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved grandson Aaron Spivy one iron pot one putor bason four spoons two putor plates two small earthen bools. Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved son John Spivy two shillings and six pence. Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Edith Pearce two shillings and six pence. Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Charity Pearce two shillings and six pence. Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Christon Spivy two shillings and six pence. Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved son, William Spivy two shillings and six pence. Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved son, Aaron Spivy all the remaining part of my estate that is not above menchond to him for ever. And I do hearby constitute and appoint my son Aaron Spivy my executor and I do hearby disannul all and all manner of former wills whatever and I do acknowledge this my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of March 1801.
