WILL OF HARDY TALTON

N. Carolina, Johnston County

In the name of God, Amen, I Hardy Talton of the County of Johnston and State of
North Carolina, being very sick and low in state of health but of sound mind and
memory thanks be to God for it do make and ordain this my last Will and Testame
Testament to principally and firstly all I recommend my soul in the hand of almight
almighty God that gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent manner 
manner and as touching such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to bless me with
in this life I give and demise of the same in the following manner and form Vi
form Viz:

I give and bequeath to my beloved nephew Henry Talton one feather bed and furna
furnature to him and his heirs forever, I give to Cullen Talton one feather bed and
firnature and my young mare and all my stock of sheep and all my puter and my
chest and one table and all my earthenware and one skillet and a parcel of books
books to him the said Cullen Talton and his heirs forever and I do appoint my trust
trusty friend Jonathan Talton executor to this my last Will and Testament ratif
ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament in
witness whereof I have hereunto set my and seal the 3rd day of April 1822, signe
signed sealed and acknowledged in the presents
