Jones Co. Court, April 1859 - To the Sheriff of Craven Co - George W Perry to 
answer to Simon E Koonce of a plea of tresapas on the case to his damage 
$3,000.

March 1859 - Judge Jepe G Shepard, A C Lotharn Sheriff and deputy B T Mason 
return - Koonce and attorney John H Houghton - George W Perry his attorney Wm 
H Washington, & George Green plead 

Jurors - Benj Brock, Francis Merritt, EB Isler, Thos C Parson, Daniel 
Harrison, Jas L Harrison, B Meadows, Geor De Bruhle, R P Hewett, Ja R Taylor, 
Nathan McDaniel, Thomas Harrison, - found favor of plaintiff - damages at $950 
with interest from April 1 1859 to - Appealed

George W Perry - possessed a certain negro slave for three years. No further 
information
