CAROLINA CENTINEAL, 02-08-1823

FOR SALE,
Upon accommodating terms, A TRACT OF LAND, supposed to contain four or five 
hundred acres, lying in Jones County, upon White-oak River and, adjoining the 
Land of Edward JONES, Esq. The land is excellent for Corn and Cotton-indeed it 
is among the most valuable in this section of country. It is in good order, 
and there is to be found upon it many Springs, two or three of which furnish 
excellent water. A bed of Manure discovered upon the margin of the river, 
supposed from its composition and experiments to be Shell Marle, invites the 
attention of the improving Farmer, who may have capital. This bed extends 
along the river a considerable distance.
