Waller in Beaver Dam Branch section of Jones County. It has been photographed many times because of its uniquely beautiful chimney and still few weeks go by without several visitors from all over the east dropping in to marvel at the construction of the home, its chimney, its walnut staircase and the beautiful hand made mantle and cornice work in the Waller living room. The space here will not permit a full history of the handsome old home. Waller, a Lenoir Contain bought the place from Adam Barry Strong, in whose family the plantation had been for at least 153 years. On record in the courthouse at Trenton is a transaction between David Barry and Bridger Jones for either this or an adjoining tract of land, which is dated July 17, 1786. No matter what its history today the Waller’s have restored it to a measure of the beauty it once knew.
