In the name of God Amen, 
     I Mary Becton of the State of North Carolina & County 
     of Jones being Weak of body, but of Sound mind and 
     memory, and knowing the uncertainty of this Transitory 
     Life, doe make and ordain this my Last Will and 
     Testament, in manner and form following, To Witt

First I give and bequeath to my loving son William Metts 
     Becton, my negroe man Cato & negroe woman Filles and her 
     Future Increase, to him and his heirs and assigns forever
Item I give and bequeath to my loving son John Black
     =man Becton, my negroe man Sambo and negroe
     woman Mall and her future Increase to him
     and his heirs and assigns forever-
Item I give and bequeath to my loving son Frederick Isler
     Becton Two negroe boys named Ceasar & Soloman
     To him and his heirs & assigns forever-
Item I give and bequeath to my loving son Bryan
     Becton one Likely horse (or mare) and Sadle & Bridle
     One new bed and furniture and four cows & calves
     To be Delivered to him at his arriving of age or Marriage
     by my Executors hereafter named, to him and his
     heirs and assigns forever-
Item I Further give and bequeath to my loving son aforesaid 
     Frederick Isler Becton one likely horse (or mare) and 
     Saddle & Bridle, and one new bed and furniture, to 
     him and his heirs and assigns forever-
Item I give and bequeath to my loving son in law, Benjamin 
     Simmons Fifty Shillings Current money, to him and 
     his heirs and assigns forever-

     Simmons Fifty Shillings Current money, to him and 
     his heirs and assigns forever-
Item I give and bequeath to my loving son in law Joseph
     Loftin Fifty Shillings Current money, to him
     and his heirs and assigns forever-
Item I give and bequeath to my loving Sons William Metts
     Becton and John Blackman Becton All the Remainder
     and Reseedue of my Estate that is not in this my last Will
     and Testament pirticular otherwise given: to be equally
     divided between them- to them and their heirs and assigns
     forever-
Lastly. I doe hereby nominate Constitute and appoint my 
     loving sons, William Metts Becton and John Black= 
     =man Becton my hole and Sole Executors to this 
     my Last will and Testament, dissannulling all 
     other will or Wills heretofore by me made, and this 
     to be my Last will and Testament, and no other-
     In Testimony whereof I the said Mary Becton
     hath hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal, 
     this 14th day of September, 1802
