I Henry Pybas of the county of Jones and State of North Carolina being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind & memory thanks be to God do make and write this my last will and testament in manner and form as following Viz ITEM-I lend unto my beloved wife Mary Pybas all my estate both real and personal during her maternal life or widowhood only such things as shall be hereafter mentioned to the children. ITEM-I give and bequeath unto my son John Pybas my land and Plantation I now live on which is one hundred twenty two in the back ten only excepted to be added to that twenty whereon Samuel Bratcher lives also one cow one bed to him and his heirs forever ITEM-I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Nancy Pybas one bed one loom and furniture one cow by name Strawberry ITEM-I give and bequeath to my son James Pybas one hundred acres of land with the plantation whereon Samuel Bratcher now lives with the ten added to which he now John Pybas is to prohibit his mother from the use of this land plantation during her life or widowhood to him and his heirs forever neither the mother to prohibit the owners of the land from the use of it in her life. ITEM-I leave all the rest of my estate only such things as a I gave the children above named which that to her during life or widowhood at her death or marriage all those things that I lent her to be equally divided between my daughter Catron Pybas Henry Pybas William Pybas Nathil Pybas or otherwise if she should live a widow to see the children grown up to years of age so as to leave her she may at her direction if the case if she can spare it with them to things that will best suit them not be to dis____ any one more than other disfurnish any one more than an other. ITEM-I leave all my carpentry and painters tools to be sold to pay my debts that is all that is justly due. ITEM-I constitute and true and trusty friends John Pybas and John Parry my ___ and sole executors of this my last will and testament utterly disannulling all other wills by me made.
