Jones County, NC - Will of Daniel Stanly, 1835 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Will of Daniel Stanly Jones County 1835 In the name of God Amen I Daniel Stanly of the County of Jones and State of North Carolina seriously considering the uncertainty of life and mindful of the obligation upon every man to have his affairs in order do make and ordain this my last will and testament as follows viz Imprimis It is my wish that after my death my executor herein after named should liquidate and pay all my just debts Item, I give to my son Daniel C. Stanly all the rest and residue of my property after my just debts are consisting at the time of my death money notes, stocks, household and kitchen furniture or property of every description whatsoever to be left immediately to his possession without any sale (except at his own option) or without any reservation on account of his being underage to him his heirs and assigns forever And lastly I nominate and appoint my said son Daniel C. Stanly executor to this my last will and testament revoking all other will by me made heretofore And finally I commit my soul and body to that Being who gave them me firmly believing that he will raise me again at the great last day and if found worthy will give me a glorious immortality In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 11th day of December A.
