B p. 215 I, Catherin WETBROOK of the County of Jones and State or North Carolina being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence, do make and declare this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say First: my Executor hereinafter named shall provide for my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my relatives and friends and pay all funeral expenses together with my first debts wheresoever owing out of the moneys that may first come into his hands as a part or parcel of my Estate. Item: I give and devise to my Unckle John R. OLIVER and Mary OLIVER, his wife all moneys & notes and all other species of property that I now own or may hereafter fall to me by the death of any of my relations Reserving my life Estate in all the above. And lastly I do hereby Constitute and appoint my trusty friend William A. COX my lawful Executor to all intents and purposes to execute this my Last Will and Testament according to the true intent and meaning of the same and every part and clause thereof hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made. In Witness whereof I the said Catherin WESTBROOK do hereunto set my hand and seal this 15th day of April 1852. Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Catherin WESTBROOK to be the last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who at her request and in her presence do subscribe our names and Witnesses thereto. GILBERT State of North Carolina Jones County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions November Term A.D. 1852 There was the Last Will and Testament of Catherin WESTBROOK presented in Open Court for Probate where Emery METTS one of the subscribing Witnesses being solemnly sworn upon the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God prove the same in the form of law and ordered to be registered.
