CLYDE H. CARTER

   RICHMOND – A funeral was held Monday for Clyde H. Carter of Richmond. Carter 
died Feb. 27.

   Survivors include his wife, Grace Thomas Carter, a daughter, Mrs. Earl Mr. 
Greene of Fort Eustis; two brothers, E. Beale Carter and Julian Carter  of 
Newsoms; four sisters, Mrs. P.S. Worrell of Newsoms, Mrs. B.T. O’Berry, Suffolk, 
Mrs. H.S. Hancock of Sedley, and Mrs. F.J. Harvath of Philadelphia, Penn., and 
two grandchildren.

   Funeral services were held at the Rogers Funeral Home, Sanford, N.C.

   The Rev. Milton Mann of Duke Chapel, Durham, N.C. officiated.

   Burial was in Shallow Well Cemetery, Sanford, N.C.
