REDFIELD-CLINTON HALL The following information was taken from hand written pages in the Bible formerly owned by Elizabeth Susan "Bettie" Hawkins Fulcher Woodard Riggs who passed it on to her daughter Luvenia Woodard Lupton, who then passed it on to her daughter Inez Lupton Venters. This Bible's family history must have been started by Martha A. White for her mother, Sidney Fife White. It has been handed down thru the female lines of this family. They are as follows: 1. Alice__?__Fife, born 1785, married Ebenezer (Eben) Fife on Oct 18, 1804, Eben Fife was born Jan 19, 1770. 2. Sidney Fife, born 1810, died 1851 age 41, married Lewis White on Feb 22, 1830. 3. Martha A. White, born Dec. 24, 1830, died Nov. 16, 1887, married William Hawkins on July 20, 1850, he died 1860. 4. Elizabeth Susan Hawkins born, c. 1851, died 1933, married Ben Fulcher in May 1869. He died Oct. 1870. She remarried to Tilman F. Woodard on July 23, 1872. He died July 23, 1887, (15 years later). Se remarried to John D. Riggs in July, 1888. 5. Luvenia Woodard married Eugene S. Lupton on March 13, 1901. 6, Vivian Inez Lupton married Silas W. Venters on Oct. 19, 1949. Fife, son of Eben Fife and Allice, his wife, was born Feb. 1, 1818. Spencer Fife, son of Ebenezer Fife and Allice, his wife. was born August 22, 1819. Tyler (?) Fife, son of Eben Fife and Allice, his wife, was born July 25, 1821. William C.P.Fife, son of Ebenezzer Fife and Allice, his wife, was born April 22, 1824. James C.P. Fife, son of Even Fife and Allice, his wife, was born April 27, 1827 Martha A. White, daughter of Lewis White and Sidney, his wife was born December 24, 1830. Elizabeth A. (J.?) White, daughter of Lewis White and Sidney, his wife, was born November 14, 1833 Benjamin F. Fife, son of O. C. Fife and Chloe his wife, was born Dec. 21, 1835. Stephen A. Fife, son of O.C.Fife and Chloe, his wife, was born July 4, 1841 James E. Fife, son of O. C. Fife and Chloe, his wife, was born May 4, 1843 Martha A. Fife, daughter of O.C. Fife and Chloe, his wife, was born Nov.24, 1836. Mary F. Fife, daughter of Holiday H. Fife and Mary, his wife, was born Aug. 26, 1836 Julia H. Fife, daughter of Holiday H. Fife and Mary, his wife, was born November 19, 1838. Josephine Fife, daughter of Holiday H. Fife and Mary, his wife, was born March 1, 1842. David F. Thomas son of Abe Thomas and Winifer, his wife was born March 18, 1827 Rebecka Thomas, daughter of Abe Thomas and Winifer, his wife, was born July 12, 1832. Elizabeth Thomas, daughter of Abe Thomas and Winifer, his wife, was born May 15, 1835. Mary Q. Census shows many of the Fife family in that county in 1850) At this point the information changes to another handwriting and starts the Woodard Family Information. _____________________________ The following was written on a blank "Morning Report of the Sick and Wounded" used during the Civil War. It was a loose page in the same bible. Written by T. F. Woodard on the 9th day of June 1868 Tilman F. Woodard and Clarkey Alexander was married by F. T. Riggs in the year of our Lord, January 30, 1861. Mary F. Woodard, daughter of Tilman and Clarkey Woodard was born in the year of our Lord, September 6, 1861. Nancy F. Woodard, daughter of Tilman and Clarkey Woodard was born in the year of our Lord, October the 9, 1864. John W. Woodard, son of Tilman and Clarkey Woodard was born, February the 28 in the year of our Lord in 1867. Frank was born when this was written. Footnote: Clarky* Alexander, daughter of _____Alexander and Polly his wife was born October 3, 1835. *this name may be Clarksy or Clarkse _____________________________ Tilman Farrow Woodard was born December 26, 1838 and departed this life June 23, 1887. Tilman Woodard and Clarkey Alexander were married Jan. 30, 1861. Of this union was born: Mary R. Woodard, Sept 6, 1862 Nancy T. Woodard, Oct. 9, 1864 Juo (?) W. Woodard, Feb. 28, 1867 Frank Thomas Woodard, no date given. ______________________________ Elizabeth Susan Hawkins, daughter of William and Martha Hawkins, married Benjamin Fulcher on May 1869. Benjamin departed this life Oct. 1870. Elizabeth Susan Fulcher, widow of Benjamin Fulcher, married Tilman F. Woodard on July 23, 1872. William Henry Woodard, son of T. F. and Elizabeth Susan Woodard was born March 14, 1875. Ida Woodard, daughter of T.F. and Elizabeth or "Bettie" Woodard was born December 20, 1876. Martha Woodard, daughter of T. F. and Bettie Woodard, was born July 14, 1878 William Caho Woodard, son of T.F. and Bettie Woodard, was born Nov. 5, 1880. Luvenia Woodard, daughter of T.F. and Bettie Woodard, was born Feb. 17, 1883 Bettie Ethel Woodard, daughter of T.F. and Bettie Woodard, was born January 29, 1885 Sinna Woodard, daughter of Tilman and Bettie Woodard, was born Feb. 1887. _____________________________ John D. He departed this life 1957.
