Fields and Dora his wife was born 27 day of July AD 1880 Julian William Fields was born the 19th day of May 1882 Attie May Fields was born 31 of May 1886 Roland Carmel Fields was born December 25, 1892 Jinnie Fields departed this life the sixth day of April AD 1877 William Malachi Fields died Sunday night 10 o’clock September 11, 1910 Born July 5, 1851 ****** The following is an abstract of a newspaper obituary found in the Bible: "Mr. William M. Fields, aged 59, died at his residence Sunday night of heart disease suddenly, the end coming without warning and without a struggle. Mr. Fields was a man of deeds and not words ".. The funeral services at the grave were conducted by Elder John Gardner of Goldsboro. He leaves a widow and six children: Mesdames R. M. Harper, Will Gray, Arthur Ross, Miss Lela and Messrs. Julian and Roland Fields.
