THOMAS ANDREW ABBOTT RECORDS

Two pieces of paper were found in the Collection of Egbert T. Rouse that 
indicate this information came from a Bible most likely the Thomas Andrew Abbott 
Bible found in Vol 2 of Dobbs County Bibles by William Murphy.

Found in 1938 in Thomas Andrew Abbott Papers.  I don’t know who wrote this. E. 
T. R. 1-8-1982

T. A. Abbott was Borned the 3 day August 1867

T. A. Abbott departed This Life 14 of May 1938 (44 years ago on 14 May 1982 – 
this in a different handwriting which appears to be Egbert Rouse’s handwriting)

Julia E. Abbott departed This Life 10 day December AD 1905 (77 years ago on 10 
Dec 1982 – also probably Rouse’s note)

Enfant of T. A. and Julia E. Abbott was born the 18 day of November ad 1905 and 
died the Same day
In a different handwriting again probably Rouse’s)  Julia died 22 days after 
birth of last child. She died of complications of childbirth)

This is probably Thomas Andrew Abbott’s own handwriting.  E. T. R. 2-8-1982

Ruth A. Abbott was borned the 24 day of July ad 1896

Fannie Abbott was borned the 19 day of October AD 1898

Ethel May Abbott was borned (Oct) (written above) 14 day of 1901
(May)

Anna bell Abbott was borned the 19day of August AD 1903

Enfant of T. A. and Julia E. Abbott was borned the 18 day of November AD 1905 
and died the same Day

Julia E. Abbott departed this Life 10 day of December AD 1905
