JESSE COBB for and in consideration of love and affection which he bears to his son JOHN COBB have given granted and by these presents doth for the consideration given unto the said JOHN all his land lying on the south side of the Neuse River in aforesaid county and Duplin Co. also one plantation formerly DRURY ANDREW'S lying NW side of South West Creek containing 555 acres, several tracts containing 1337 acres which was conveyed from RICHARD CASWELL to JESSE COBB by deed bearing date 13 January 1783. One other tract containing 125 acres conveyed from JOHN CHARLES to JESSE COBB by deed 15 December 1797, several other tracts containing 200 acres conveyed from JEREMIAH LOFTIN to JESSE COBB by deed 17 Dec. 1786, other tracts containing 333 and conveyed from RICHARD NIXON to JESSE COBB by deed 4 July 1787 and one other tract of 238 acres granted to JESSE COBB of patent bearing date 3 July 1800. Also one other tract lying on east side of the great branch which is part of a patent granted to CHARLES MACKLAND and conveyed by him to JESSE COBB by deed 10 July 1786 being had ____more fully appears.
