It is a safe assumption that the D in the name, D. Caswell, represents the name, Dick, a derivative of the name, Richard. Document includes a total of four pages. Many of the references to this document by historians only transcribe the first page from a copy of this document at East Carolina University Archives, suggesting either an incomplete transcription of all four pages, or possibly that the copy at ECU is incomplete.
