Hardy Croom Executors of Richard Croom decesd. the sum of Three 
pounds seven and six pence____for value received as witness our 
hands and seals this day of Sept 5 1805 witness Benjm his

of the document. The bottom portion of the document has been
torn away below 'Benjm his'.

Benjm is an abbreviation for Benjamin. Based on the date of the
document, the only Benjamin of adult age found on other documents
in the Collection was Benjamin Sutton, Sr. (ca 1752-1837).
