                                 FORTY-EIGHT DOLLARS, 
           Value received. County of Lenoir hereby waiving our rights in the 
benefits of the Homestead Exemption or Stay Law, as to this debt, it being for necessares 
                for family use, with interest from date. at 8 per cent

Comments:

Wife of Hardy Sutton, she apparently used the first names interchangeably.
