Dear Sir:-

   We have just received communication from 
D. L. M. Fields, in regard to shipment of roofing 
cement made you December 22nd, 1919. We want to 
assure you that there is a misunderstanding in re-
gard to this matter. It is true that the shipment 
was made sightdraft bill of leading attached, but 
half receipt of check from Mr. Fields in your be-
half, the draft was recalled, and we cannot under-
stand why the bank has again presented it to you. 
We will again ask them to return our papers and 
exceedingly regret the misunderstanding which has 
caused you some inconvenience.
