Although identified as a draft, this sketch may have been a pattern that Annie was in the process of designing for a hand- made quilt. Ollie Delaney Sutton Bruner (b. 1935), daughter and only descendant of Clellan Thomas (1908-1999) and Pauline Sutton (1910-1995) Sutton, was bequeathed several hand-made quilts from her 2xgreat-grandmother, Annie, through her father, Clellan's Sutton line. Clellan was the son of Herman, Sr. (1876- 1958) and Lola Estelle Sutton (1884-1972) Sutton. Herman, Sr. was the son of Julius Eri (1847-1925) and Nancetta (Nancy) Sutton (1857-1929) Sutton. Julius was the son of Hardy (1803- 1861) and Annie Hill Sutton.
