Comments:

The photograph is quite small, approximately 1.5 x 2.5 inches, and 
is encased in a leather-bound, locket-type folder whose hinge has 
deteriorated. The photograph is wrinkled, likely due to the effects 
of poor climate-control over the many years.

The handwriting on the note is that of Clellan Sutton. The name, 
Nasette is spelled, Nancetta, in other documents and sources. The 
initials, C.S., are those of Clellan Sutton.

Julius Eri Sutton (1847-1925) was the twin brother of Junius Eli 
Sutton (1847-1931). They were sons of Hardy and Annie Hill Sutton.
