Inscription on back of photograph was written by Clellan Sutton.

Esdras Elmore (1866-1915) never married. He lived in the household 
of his father and mother, Joel Elmore (1831-1915) and Martha (Patsy) 
Sutton Elmore (1829-1922) in Bucklesberry until his death and 
worked as a laborer on his parents' farm.
