[torn] ?? State of North Carolina Dobbs County By Virtue of 3 Warrants No. 70, 73 & 7? On the date the 22nd day of August 1793 I have Surveyed for Benjamin Sutton a Tract of Land Containing Three hundred and Ninety Six acres On Bucklesberry Pocosin Begining [sic.] at a Sweet gum on said Pocosin and Lands with a line of Simon Herring Patent North fifty West ??? poles to the Center of three ??? forty East one hundred and sixty poles then No. East forty seven poles toared a P. Stu[mp] ??? Simon Herring Survey then ?? [torn] END OF DOCUMENT Comments: Squiggly line appears to represent the Neuse River, given the geographic proximity of other Benjamin Sutton land that was known to be located in Bucklesberry. Document is torn at the bottom, suggesting there is more language to this survey that is missing.
