Clellan was married to Pauline (Sutton) Sutton (1910-1995).
He is a descendant through his father Herman Sutton, Sr.
(1876-1956), a great-grandson of Benjamin, Sr. and Sarah
Hardy Sutton. He is a double-descendant through his mother
Lola Estelle Sutton (1884-1972), a third great-granddaughter
of Benjamin, Sr. and Sarah Hardy Sutton.
