Dr. John Paris Swain Jr. was married to Florence Irene Rhea
Swain (1925-1998). He is a descendant through his paternal
grandmother Laurah Wood Swain (1956-1934), whose mother
Elizabeth Sutton Wood (1827-1894) was a granddaughter of
Benjamin Sr. and Sarah Hardy Sutton.
