John Paris Swain Sr. was married to Mary Columbia Allen Swain
(1900-1965). He is a descendant through his mother Laurah Wood 
Swain (1956-1934), whose mother Elizabeth Sutton Wood (1827-1894) 
was a granddaughter of Benjamin Sr. and Sarah Hardy Sutton.
