John Warters was married to Mattie Marie Dail Sutton (1921-
2005). He was a descendant through his father Harold Junius
Sutton (1900-1951), second great-grandson of Benjamin, Sr.
and Sarah Hardy Sutton. He was a double descendant through
his mother, Winnifred Lee Warters Sutton (1900-1951), second
great-granddaughter of Benjamin, Sr. and Sarah Hardy Sutton.
