Lenoir was buried 1847 Mrs Rachel Scott Lenoir was buried 1847 Benj F Clarke of Va was buried Nov 21 1847 By the Rev F FitzGerald William Lovick of Lenoir was buried in Kinston NC in rear of the church on the 28th April 1856 having died on the 26th in the 79th year of his age Mrs Louise Hernandez Washington wife of George Washington __ Esq of Kinston born in St Augustine Florida ___ died on the 12th May 1859 & was buried in the 14th in the 36 year of her age - (a tablet has been erected by the members of St Mary's Parish to her memory & may be seen in the church in Kinston as a momento of her many virtues & christian graces) By Rev Wm C Hunter William B West of Kinston was buried March 4th 1860 Mrs Ann Coleman of Kinston was buried April 20th 1860 Harriet Olivia infant daughter of Jno H & H A _ Peebles was buried on the 26th september 1860 Mrs __ Bond wife of Henry F Bond __ __ Esq Kinston NC was buried June 14th 1861 aged Burials Continued St Mary's Parish Kinston 1888 May 22nd, Donizell, infant son of Geo E & Olive Kornegay, Services in church and interment in Town Cemetery 1889 December 5th Thursday, The remains of the late John Cobb Washington, Senior Warden of St Mary's Parish Kinston, who died at his home at Black Mountain were brought here yesterday and deposited in the Church for the night, and today the Funeral Service of the Church was read over them at 10 o'clock. Then they were taken to the family lot at Vernon and deposited therein. Peace be to his ashes. The Parish mourns its los of one who had been intimately connected with it for fifty six (56) years or since 1833. Mr Washington was born in Kinston on (not filled in) 1890 March 7th. At 2 o'clock the Funeral Service of the Church was performed over the remains of Mr Edwin Randolph Page, formerly of Kinston, who died at his home in Trenton, Jones Co, on the evening of the 13th Inst. date not clear but it looks like a 5 - which would make more sense died on the 5th buried on the 7th, Interment in the Family Lot in Town Cemetery December 16th. Mr G E Miller, junior warden of Parish was buried by Rev I Harding assisted by Rev C L Arnold of Goldsboro 1891 Jany. Rev I Harding was buried at Chocowinity, Beaufort County, NC Jany 15th 1891, Rev N C Hughes DD assisted by other ministers July. In Town cemetery infant of Mr Jas Tucker was buried by J D Miller, layreader August 14th in Town cemetery, Carl Weyher, 14 years 7 mo old sonof Dr. & Mrs Rachel Weyer - (having been drowned on 13th) was buried by Rev Edward Wooten of Tenn 1892 August 23rd. The funeral Service of the church was performed over the remains of Samuel Hawkins Aged 6 years son of J O and Annie Hawkins, the service was held at the Church and finished at the grave by Mr H S Simmerman a student of the Theological Seminary of VA 1893 Tues. On Tuesday __ 9th at 3:30 PM the funeral Service at the Church was performed over the remains of Rugh Abbott, only daughter of S H and Minnie Abbott She was born on the 9th day Dec 1879 died on the 5th day July 1893 child 13 years 1 month and 26 days, the funeral Service was conducted by the __ Rev H H Watson ___ graves 1894 Jany. At the Cemetery was buried Sinnia May Daughter of J O and Annia Hawkins aged 2 years, Senior Warden S H Abbott officiating July 7th. At the Cemetery was buried Miss Purvis Taylor Aged 42 years the Rector Rev Alban Greaves officiating Oct 16th.
