L. West, James M. Kilpatrick, Bright Harper, Benjamin Rouse, Job Leary, David Lawson, Joshua Canaday, Reubin Clark, George Simmons and Nathan Daugherty William Aldridge late of Lenoir Co on 1 April 1831, did unlawfully take into his house Celia Pool and they did then live together, bed and co-habit contrary to an Act of the General Assembly - they had one or more children - they were charged with adultery - the jury found the defs guilty There was a 2nd trial - on the jury was James Davis, Jr., Arthur Cunningham, Alexander Moseley, Durant Jackson, Nathan Lassiter, Fred.
