Lenoir County, NC - WESTBROOK vs CROOM, 1833 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NC SUPREME COURT CASE #1982 – WESTBROOK vs CROOM – Lenoir Co - 1833 Contains the Will of William Croom which is already posted Croom died in 1827 Plaintiff, Charles Westbrook, qualified as the Executor of said Will I, Richard Croom of Lenoir County bound unto Hardy B. Croom and Charles Westbrook, exec of the Will of William Croom, dec for $6000 – 1 Jan 1830. The condition – the residuary part of the estate will be insufficient to pay the debts and the Will states that Richard out of the property which he is not about to do ???? As the law of the State, sd Richard to pay his proportional part of the remaining debts of the testator. Richard should deliver back to the executors enough to pay his portion of the debt.
