Lenoir County Probate Court
In the matter of the administration of the Estate of Alexander Fields
Before Wm W N Hunter, Probate Judge

Wm C Fields being duly sworn doth say: That Alexander Fields late of said 
county is dead without leaving any will and testament and that William C 
Fields is the proper person entitled to Letters of Administration on the 
estate of the said Alexander Fields.

Further that the value of said estate, so far as can be ascertained at the 
date of this application, is about $1,500 and that William Fields, Elijah 
Fields, Emma Wood, Olivia C Pope, Julia A Newsome, Wm C Fields, Eliza 
Fields, Bryan N Fields, Susanna Aldridge and Fannie W Taylor are entitled as 
heirs and distributees thereof.
Sworn and subscribed before me Wm C Fields this 17th day of October, 1881.
