William JENKINS vs. James WILLIAMS

State of North Carolina

To any Constable or other lawful Officer of Lenoir County, Greeting:
You are hereby commanded to summon James WILLIAMS to appear before me in 
Kinston, NC on the sixteenth day of January 1869 to answer the complaint of 
William JENKINS for the non payment of the sum of Thirty five & 50/100 Dollars 
balance due on account.
Herein fail not (and of this summons make due ———?
This the 8th day of Jany. 1869.

Judgement in this action given against the defendants for the sum of city five 
50/100 and cost this Jany 16th, 1869. W. HUGGINS, J. P.
Execute and sell all or as much of the defendants property as will satisfy this 
debt and costs. January 16th, 1869.
