Lenoir County, NC - Lewis Pipkin, Administrator to Elisha Pipkin Estate, 1826 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Know all men by these presents that I Daniel Hines of the County of Lenoir and State of North Carolina as guardian to Eliza Jane Pipkin Daniel Pipkin and Chloe Ann Grizzy Pipkin heirs of Elisha Pipkin Dec'd and agent for Elizabeth Pipkin wife of said Elisha Pipkin Dec'd am held and firmy bound unto Lewis Pipkin as administrator to his father Elisha Pipkin Dec'd Estate in the full and just sum of thirty four hundred & ninety two dollars to be recovered of me as guardian and of the property of said heirs to which payment I bind myself as guardian to said heirs firmly and justly as witness my hand and seal this 7th Jan'r 1826 The condition of the above obligation is such that if there should hence forth be any lawful and just demand against the above written Lewis Pipkin of Cumberland County and State of North Carolina administrator to his father Elisha Pipkin dec'd estate and the above bounden Daniel Hines doth refund an equilavent part from all the heirs under his care as guardian and agent with all the other heirs of said Elisha Pipkin Dec'd estate then this above bond is to be void other wise to remain in full force and virtue Daniel Hines {Seal} Witness Jesse Pipkin Private Collection [of Elisha Pipkin] P.C. 847 [Elisha Pipkin, son of Jesse Pipkin, son of John Pipkin, Chowan Co, 1745] ___________________________________________________________________ Copyright.
