Hines my Guardian all my negroes & lands which were in his possession and also the sum of four thousand one hundred and twenty five 94/100 dollars in full of all the monies due me in his hands including rents & hires with the interest thereon and I hereby release the said James M. Hines from all manner of claim or claims that I have might or could have against him the said James M. Hines forever by reason of his said guardianship In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the 25th day of July 1839 Signed Sealed & acknowledged in presence of James Griswold Willis Pipkin {Seal} Received from James M. Hines my Guardian all my lands & negroes and also the sum of five thousand three hundred & thirteen 87/100 in full of all monies in his hands due me as guardian including rents & hires with the interest thereon and I hereby release the said James M. Hines guardian as aforesaid from all manner of claim or claims which I now have might or could have against him either in law or equity for on account or by reason of his said guardianship In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the 25th day of July 1839 Signed Sealed & acknowledged in presence of James Griswold Jesse Pipkin {Seal} Received from James M. Archelaus, who married Anna Hines, was son of Jesse Pipkin, son of John Pipkin of Chowan County who left a will in 1745.
