WEBB, this 2nd day of July 1849 before us James JONES and one of the Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid came Joseph R. CROOM and Nancy his wife and acknowledged the execution of the within deed and the said Nancy being by me privately examined separate and apart from her said husband acknowledges that she hath executed the said deed freely and deliberately uninfluenced by the threats or persuasions of her said husband and hath now no wish to revoke the same.
