Daly NORTH CAROLINA, LENOIR COUNTY THIS DEED, made this 20the day of June, 1921, by Jas. R. Daly of Wayne County, and State of North Carolina, of the first part, and Emma G. Daly of Wayne County, and State of North Carolina, of the second part: WITNESSETH: That the said party of the first part for and in consideration of One Thousand Dollars and other considerations, to him paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has bargained and sold, and by these presents, does bargain, sell and convey to the party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, a certain parcel of land situate in Trent Township, Lenoir County, North Carolina, bounded and described as follows. A part of the Kornegay farm known as plat no. 5 being tract number five as surveyed by M.M. Worthington which said plat or map is recorded in Book 1 at page 34, of Public Registry of Lenoir County. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the aforesaid tract of land and all the privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging to the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, to their only use and behoof forever. Reserving only the life estate of the party of the first part. And the party of the first part does covenant with the party of the second part that he is seized of said premises in fee and has a right to convey the same in fee simple, that the same is free and clear from all incumbrances.
